Footwear & Accessories
Accessories are an essential part of your ensemble. Don't leave it too late to choose your shoes, tie, tie pin, handbag, veil or headpiece.
You don't need to spend a fortune, its all about consolidating your style
If you buy leather shoes, see if they are vegetable dyed or choose fabric shoes made under fair trade conditions. Choose wisely and your shoes could be dyed after the wedding and worn for years afterwards.
If you're vegetarian or vegan and can't bear the thought of wearing leather shoes for your wedding there are now some a fabulous stylish and ethical shoes on the market.
Go antique and use your grandmother's veil. If you're buying new, you'll have to settle with dilemma of silk tulle vs nylon with your own conscience.
Borrow a vintage handbag from your Mum or beg one from a friend (the same goes for ties and tie clips from family and friends!). There are also some really creative designers producing beautiful one off handbags.
Headpieces come in many styles - there's bound to be one to suit you, or you could find a designer to create a unique piece specially for your wedding day. Or go natural and opt for a fresh flower or foliage crown, or individual stems (which are great from bridesmaid's hair as their styles often vary significantly).
Our partners offer a wide range beautiful and stylish ethical shoes and accessories, and our florist are just a click away, too!
