Wagons and Fire - Unique & Eco-Friendly

Hidden away in Wiltshire’s Pewsey Vale is Wagons & Fire, a unique and eco-friendly pop up wedding venue with loads of character and quirkiness.

This one-of-a-kind glamping venue was established in striking countryside with a circle of handcrafted wagons, fire pits, beautiful woodland and lake, by Jessie in 2014 after she got married in the same spot herself.

The pop-up venue includes the sole use of two fields (one can be used for parking/camping), a bridal wagon in the woodlands by the lake, 4 other wagons for a total of 12 guests to sleep in, a kitchen wagon, an eco toilet and shower wagon, a large fire pit, generator hire and drinking water supply, a recycling and washing up station and a handmade bar structure.  These unique wagons are totally handmade by the very talented James, Jessie’s uncle.

You are free to organise your own bar if you wish - we do not charge corkage.

Although we don’t hold a wedding licence, there is a stunning woodland spot in front of the lake where you can have your own very personal wedding ceremony - we have a handcrafted jetty over our lake which is surrounded by the woodland and is perfect for humanist/blessing/handfasting ceremonies.  However there are several registry offices nearby for you to do the legal bit, and churches for those that wish to have a traditional church wedding ceremony.

We are proud to offer a really personal and friendly service with lots of little complimentary extras to ensure you really enjoy your wedding day and the lead up to it. For example, we can offer you flowers freshly picked from our own cutting garden, old tin baths that you can fill with ice to chill your drinks, vintage barrels you can use as bar tables and handmade bunting amongst other things.

Best of all, we encourage you to come and start setting up a few days in advance, make a weekend of it, perhaps have a small gathering by the lake wagon and cook pizzas together on the handmade pizza oven or toast marshmallows on the fire, we don’t charge you extra for that – it’s all part of the fun!

Have you seen...
