Just 20 minutes drive from the city of Truro, they offer a tranquil, rustic, laid-back setting for your celebrations.
If you’re looking for a wedding tailored to your own particular style and want to ensure that it doesn’t cost the Earth, either financially or environmentally, then Mount Pleasant Eco Park might just be your perfect venue.
They are passionate about ensuring that their weddings leave as little a mark on the world as possible. To those ends they are proud to be a vegetarian and vegan only siteusing locally and ethically sourced ingredients. The Eco Park Kitchen specialises in seasonal, locally grown and freshly prepared dishes. They believe in unique combinations of colour, taste, texture and smell.
At Mount Pleasant Eco Park they have so many different spaces for you to use, you can truly let your imagination go and have your wedding, your way. Their outside ampitheatre is perfect for your ceremony with a sunset deck offering views of the Atlantic, you can have drinks under the sail canopy in their cob courtyard followed by games on the events lawn. Dine al-fresco in their Atrium with a sumptuous vegetarian or vegan sharing feast or perhaps you would like the theatrics of a Big Pan meal cooked in front of you and your guests with drinks served to them from their outside bar. You can dance to the end of the night in the barn and then finish the evening by firelight in the courtyard firepit area.
Their accommodation is wild camping with two shepherds huts and 5 bell tents available for you and your guests.
This is of course just an example of how you might want to celebrate your wedding day, they are open to your ideas and suggestions. Their style is quite simply a relaxed, DIY venue with stunning natural surroundings.

I wanted to write a few words to say thank you to the staff at the Eco Park for the opportunity they gave Hilary and I to host our guests at our wedding in one of the most outstanding venues you can possibly imagine, not just in the British Isles but possibly the world. It’s true that I am a little biased in that a little of my heart will always belong there now but even so I believe you couldn’t imagine a more stunning and user-friendly environment to hold a wedding party. As if the venue wasn’t enough (it was) the venue delivered on so many other levels as well. The pre-wedding assistance was superb. Kath fielded every query, panicked question and general pre-wedding skittishness that we could throw at her (there was a lot) and pointed us to some great local suppliers who added to the great theatre that can be created there. The food was fantastic as well, the chef was so enthusiastic. In truth we had signed up with another more carnivorous caterer originally but we were so pleased we went with the Vegetarian option in the end. It suited the venue, it suited the guests and it suited us. The wine and beer were quality as well, much better than hunting for your own, although I remember thinking the corkage was good value as well. I don’t want to say too much about our day. You will make your own dream come true, but we were made so welcome by the Registrars and our guests really entered into the spirit of having a whole weekend to spend time together either on site camping (bring a big hammer for your pegs!) or in the local area. Furthermore, the staff worked tirelessly to make the day run well. I cannot explain enough how smoothly it all went and this was down to their expertise and delivery (thank you Sophie!). I can’t say much more than that - just that in Porthtowan Eco Park we found a wedding venue that you can truly paint your dreams on one the most welcoming and flattering canvases you could wish for. Since our wedding day, the most common feedback we’ve had from guests has been how much they enjoyed the Eco Park. As a venue, it was perfectly self-contained to hold everything we wanted and, from the ceremony in the amphitheatre to the speeches and toasts in the fire-pit to the party in the barn, it wasn’t just a wedding, but a mini-festival. Above all, the Eco Park allowed one very special thing: it made our non-Cornish guests fall in love with this little slice of Cornwall as deeply as we always have. A perfect wedding at the perfect location. Ross & Michelle
The Eco Park exceeded all our expectations as a venue, vibe and location. The wild sea and surrounding history in the way of tin mines and ancient field systems made this a magical and memorable place to marry. We were able to adapt and use the barn space in creative ways which really made the day our own. At no point were our ideas too 'out there' for the Mount Pleasant team. The staff were always friendly and supportive and have a fabulous sense of humour to boot! All in all, our wedding at the Eco Park was, and always will be, the best day of our lives. Molly & Mike
What can I say - Saturday was just totally amazing. We loved every single minute and so did all of our guests. We’ve had so much great feedback about the venue and how beautiful it is and what a wonderful setting. Thank you for all of you help in the lead up and of course on the day you were completely awesome. Gemma & Kit
