Doddington Hall is renowned for being one of the most perfect wedding venues in Lincolnshire; romantic, beautiful and extremely flexible. We know that your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we take great pride in our personal attention and calm professional approach to this very special occasion.

Doddington Hall is one of the most beautiful Elizabethan houses in the country. Still privately owned and lived in, it has never been sold since it was built in 1595 and it is a truly splendid venue with a uniquely exclusive and romantic atmosphere.

We have four special licensed sites: The Coach House, The Long Gallery, the Garden Pavillion & the East Porch. Each is unique; each will ensure your civil ceremony is truly memorable. Take a 360 look around The Long Gallery.

If you choose Doddington as your wedding venue in Lincolnshire, you can be assured of the personal attention of our wedding team for your bespoke wedding package.

*Book all three of our Cottages, The Delaval Rooms and each Tailor Room for your wedding for a minimum of two nights and receive a 10% saving off the Coach House venue fee, deducted from your final wedding balance*

How Green is your Supplier?

How Green is your Supplier?

So we've put together a ten point criteria, the Green Gauge, that we ask all our partners, your wedding suppliers, to comply with for your peace of mind. The wedding industry covers a broad activity base and you will have your own benchmark of how 'green' you want your suppliers to be. We happily accept wedding suppliers who are trying their best and can check 4 or more criteria on our Green Gauge.

We’re proud winners of the Lincolnshire Life Magazine Taste of Excellence ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’ 2018. The award recognises exceptional wedding service from the initial point of contact through to the service and reception as well as the use of local produce and quality of the team.

The Coach House is just steps away from Doddington Hall. It was created in 2011 when we extended and refurbished a beautiful Elizabethan house to the highest Environmental specifications. Light, airy, fresh and modern but with a stunning Elizabethan exterior, the Coach House is a wonderfully private and comfortable location with a beautiful secluded garden. It is ideal for weddings, with exclusive use of the whole venue.

Here at Doddington Hall we are proud to showcase quality, seasonal produce from our own estate and local suppliers. We have our own herd of Lincoln Red Cattle for all our beef dishes, plentiful game, our own honey and foraged wild garlic along with fantastic year-round produce from our walled Kitchen Garden. Beyond the estate we seek out the best local growers and producers from Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. Our menus are just a starting point in creating your perfect wedding day. We offer you a ‘tasting’ where the bride and groom can enjoy a number of dishes from the menu. Our Head Chef is also happy to build you a bespoke menu if there is  something you would specifically like to serve to your guests.
