How Green is your Supplier?

How Green is your Supplier?

So we've put together a ten point criteria, the Green Gauge, that we ask all our partners, your wedding suppliers, to comply with for your peace of mind. The wedding industry covers a broad activity base and you will have your own benchmark of how 'green' you want your suppliers to be. We happily accept wedding suppliers who are trying their best and can check 4 or more criteria on our Green Gauge.

Organic and Earthly Ethical Wedding Jewellery

At the heart of my ethical wedding and engagement rings is my passion for responsible design. Each jewel is handcrafted in my Somerset studio using 18ct fairtrade gold that is fully traceable and sustainably sourced; supporting artisanal miners, local communities and without causing harm to the environment.

The diamonds and gemstones are handpicked and guaranteed conflict free and some can even be traced back to the mines from which they came.

I love to work with ‘rustic’ diamonds, which are one-of-a-kind stones, included with swirls of colour.

My commitment to sustainable practices ensures the provenance of every ring and offers a unique blend of beauty, authenticity and integrity.

My organic and earthly designs blend a contemporary aesthetic with an ancient feel - influenced by the Egyptian, Greek and Byzantium ages.  I also find inspiration in the sentimental jewels of the Victorian era as well as my own extensive travels to far flung shores.  Each creation is crafted using sung mantras and icaros from the Amazon and India so that they become wearable blessings known as little gold prayers.

A wedding ring is a symbol of your love and commitment to one another.   I believe that this sacred union deserves to be honoured with ethical rings that are rich in romance and ritual with the hope that they become family heirlooms that are cherished for generations, each with their own story to tell.
