BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK 2017 | Celebrating Bristol Organic Flower Farmers | Organic Blooms

If you love cut flowers, care about where they come from and how they are grown, then stunning British cut flowers from our lovely friends at Organic Blooms could be just what you’ve been looking for for your own wedding!

Organic Blooms is a cut flower farm near Bristol where they grow and sell beautiful seasonal flowers sustainably and without the use of artificial chemicals. They were awarded Soil Association Organic Certification in February 2017 and are, in fact, one of the very first Soil Association certified organic flower growers in the UK - an achievement that they are incredibly proud of - congratulations to the whole team!

On a 4 acre site near Bristol, in South Gloucestershire, Organic Blooms specialise in growing loads of varieties of flowers and herbs and can supply you with the most fantastic, informal and natural cottage garden wedding flowers for your special day. In fact you’ll find that a lot of the flowers they grow are just not available on the high street.  Their locally grown, stunning, ethical and unique wedding flowers will certainly make your wedding day beautifully memorable with flowers inspired by you.

You can choose their Full Wedding Floral Service where they will provide bridal bouquets, bridesmaid flowers, buttonholes, hair flowers, table centrepieces and arrangements for your venue.  Alternatively if you have creative flair and want to make your day really personal by arranging your own floral decor, you can go the DIY wedding flowers route where they will simply supply beautiful fresh seasonal blooms for you to arrange yourself.

Organic Blooms is also a Social Enterprise that provides the environment, expertise, and inspiration to enable people to achieve their potential and to overcome barriers that they face when considering training and work. Growing and selling cut flowers is the focus around which everyone who attends Organic Blooms finds their own unique opportunity to learn, heal, develop, make friends, and eventually find work and move on - many of their trainees progress on to work in horticulture, and some are employed by the business.

The lovely team at Organic Blooms is proud to tell me that they aren't conventional florists and don't want to be! So if you like the idea of locally grown, seasonal and sustainable flowers then they really are worth talking to.

Go to their website or get in touch with Organic Blooms to find out more about their flowers and how they work as a social enterprise.
