An Intimate Italian Olive Grove Elopement at Aquapetra near Naples, Captured by Catherine Bradley Photography - Paula Rooney bouquetMany have dreamed of a destination wedding, but this can seem at odds with a sustainable cerebration. Well, one way to make your destination wedding more eco-friendly is to elope, either just the two of you, or with a handful of your nearest and dearest (you can always stay on for your honeymoon!). Staying at a venue which is in sync with its natural surroundings and serves local seasonal food should be at the top of your checklist. The exquisite Aquapetra Resort and Spa is one such Italian wedding venue.

The venue is a lovingly restored 18th-century hamlet, set within sixty acres of scented gardens and olive groves, and nestled within the timeless nature reserves, vineyards and ancient towns of the picture-perfect Sannio countryside.

The location and the facilities available create a sanctuary in which to unwind and be pampered; Michelin-starred dining, boutique hotel rooms, and an indulgent spa, Aquapetra are dedicated to the wellbeing of all who seek a truly transformative, holistic experience.

These bright plates gave a nod to rustic Italy and with each setting was dressed with gorgeous napkins from Just 4 Linen, delicate stationery from the De Winton paper company, and an individual rose to compliment, the romance of Italy shone through.
