Splotts Moor in Wick, Glastonbury, enjoyed 5 amazing weddings during our 2019 season. It was a pleasure working with our couples, all of whom had different yet equally impressive visions of how they wanted their special day to be.
Our team, led by our resident décor wizard Hollie, incorporated natural greenery and flowers sourced from our own grounds into many couples’ themes. We harvested bamboo, ivy, wildflowers, and other seasonal flora from our farm and used them to highlight our newlyweds’ own decorations.
We were pleased to have had the involvement of other Somerset businesses, including florists, cake designers, caterers, local musicians, and facilities providers. We’re happy to report that we’re building great relationships with area vendors, and we look forward to recommending them in the future!
Splotts Moor is proudly green – we utilise reusable tablecloths, dinnerware, cutlery, tumblers, and wine glasses. We also happily provide biodegradable and recyclable items such as paper straws and cups. We’re thrilled to be a green, eco-friendly venue, and to host events that are fun, unforgettable, and have minimal impact on the environment.
We’re already gearing up for 2020 and looking forward to hosting more gorgeous green weddings!
