Tell Us About Yourselves

"We met while travelling in Argentina and got engaged 8 years later while on holiday in Finland, we hired a log cabin in the country right on the edge of a lake and Jamie surprised me while we were out on the rowing boat with a proposal ???? We moved to Australia and were engaged for about 3 years before we planned the big day – deciding to do it back home so that all our family, grannies, and friends could celebrate and have a reunion. We decided a ceilidh on a cosy winters night to keep everyone warm!"

Tell Us About Your Eco-Ethical Ethos, and How You Reflected That in Your Wedding Planning

"We didn’t want to go over the top and just wanted a celebration with loved ones so kept decorations to a minimum – the botanic gardens doesn’t need much. We re-used decorations from the ceremony and took them into the hall to decorate for dinner. Favours were glass bottles filled with berry flavoured liquor made by the brides father and recyclable christmas crackers."

What a gorgeous day - my thanks to Emily and Jamie, and to Deborah Schenck for sharing it with us.
