INTRODUCING: Sheepdrove Organic Farm | Natural Farm Weddings
27th May 2016
Here are GUHQ we fall head over heals for a farm wedding every time. And who wouldn’t fall for this perfect spot? I'm over the moon to introduce you to Sheepdrove, an organic farm with the highest eco credentials where you can celebrate your natural farm wedding surrounded by family and friends know that eveything you do is helping towards a healthy planet.
Sheepdrove Organic Farm is one of the very best and not only is it set in its own 2,500 acres of organic farmland close to the M4, its really only a stone’s throw from London, so its incredibly accessible for all your guest coming out of the city to help you celebrate - they can even lift share to save on your overall wedding carbon footprint.
The reception rooms have been created from, or to blend in with the farm buildings, and the Oak Room’s soaring vaulted ceiling is a fabulous space to hold your wedding reception.
This eco friendly, carbon neutral wedding venue gives you exclusive use for two whole days so you can really dig in and relax while you and your family celebrate one of the most important times of your lives.
You can get away from the crowds for a little ‘alone’ time and to steal a few private moments down at the Boat House nestled just beyond the natural woodland and overlooking Sheepdrove's private lake just a short walk from the centre.
A perfect spot for some intimate photos.
Most everything is sourced from the farm and kitchen gardens.
Of course, being an organic farm, all the produce used for your wedding reception will be produced on the home farm and gathered from the Kitchen Gardens that surround the barns.
As well as being surrounded by organic farmland, the venue has a beautiful physic garden and stone amphitheatre full of aromatic herbs which makes a great space for alfresco dining, or holding a barbecue or hog roast on a sultry summer’s evening during your wedding weekend.
We warmly welcome Sheepdrove to Green Union!
