Today I’m really excited to welcome lovely digital wedding website people Paperless Wedding to Green Union’s rapidly growing wedding directory.
Here at GUHQ I do bang on about saving everything and recycling as much as possible so as to lessen your impact on the environment while planning your wedding. So when Paperless Wedding contacted me to tell me about their huge selection of wedding website themes I was over the moon. What a great resource for couples planning an eco friendly wedding!
I still think paper wedding invitations have a place in the wedding mix especially if you have elderly or just plain old fashioned relatives and friends who aren’t all that digitally motivated and want a lovely card to stroke on the run up to your very special day! But a wedding website will cover the waterfront for everyone else - invitations, RSVP’s, information and directions can all be popped on your website for all to access at their leisure. If things change, or you want to add some more information, it’s just a matter of popping the information on your website for all to see in one hit rather than having to sit down and write to everyone, especially at such a busy time as the run up to a wedding. 'What are the benefits of a wedding website?' you ask, well ...
Forget the paper, don’t rely on the post and save the world! Whatever colours you choose you'll have a green wedding.
You’re excited, get your guests in the mood – send ‘save the dates’ in your chosen style and then the ultimate wedding invitation! Use the message board and interact with everyone during the run-up.
Manage your wedding in one place. Who’s invited, who’s replied and accepted, your gift list, your own wedding website.
See all your guests' photos from your day - they can upload them to your website! Then publish your own photos so your family and friends to remember what a fabuous day you all had celebrating your green union.
