WEDDING DRESS INSPIRATION - ‘Where the Wild Things Grow’: The New Ethical Bridal Collection From Jessica Turner Designs
10th April 2021
Launching today, I’m delighted to feature the latest collection by talented independent bridalwear designer, Jessica Turner Designs.
As a designer, Jessica supports a sustainable path to production for all her gowns; she is an advocate of slow fashion and puts this into practice when designing her gowns, developing the look using hand-painted illustrations in order to reduce the use of raw materials.
The ‘Where the Wild Things Grow’ collection, features flora that encompasses the body, natural fibres against the skin, and nature taking over to re-wild the planet. The custom-made gowns, ranging in price from £1,500 to £2,500 feature a mix of luxurious floral laces, peace silk and organic fabrics.
‘Where the Wild Things Grow’ is a mix of pretty boho styles, daring low v-necklines and stunning back details where the floral laces grow! Jessica includes some subtle dip-dye in some of her dresses or soft pastel shades to bring some colour to her work whilst representing the natural colour of flowers.
It’s the little details that I’ve always loved about Jessica’s style, like her signature silk knit corsets, the pretty floral appliqués on the cuffs, and the flattering slits in the arms or legs. This collection is a romantic triumph, sustainably made from ethical fabrics for the artful eco bride!
And last but not least, there's the lovable Bride Bunny! The perfect gift for a flower girl, mother of the bride, or saved as an heirloom, a bride bunny is yours free with the purchase of a Jessica Turner Designs wedding dress; it's even clothed in a replica of your dress!
