INSPIRATIONAL EDITORIAL - Pastel Summer Bridal & Styling Ideas, Captured By Victoria Mitchell Photography At Long Furlong Farm, Northamptonshire

27th November 2020

Long Furlong Farm is a truly beautiful blank canvas venue based in the Northamptonshire countryside - Alina from Sara's Events and Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co joined forces to bring together this dusty rose and green colour palette.

Bridal Looks

The team created to different bridal looks. Bespoke Bridal Hair by Nicola and Yvonne Aucott Makeup Artist beautified the models. The wedding dresses were from Ivory and Lace and were teamed with accessories by Rachel Sokhal and a veil by Rebecca Anne Designs.

The Outdoor Ceremony Space

The outdoor ceremony area by the lake featured vintage furniture from the hire collection of Nikkita Palmer Designs and abundant florals by Sara's Events.

The Reception Table

Using some props from Wren Prop Hire and furniture from Nikkita Palmer Designs, the table styling was brought together by Alina and Beth, focusing on the pinks and greens of the chosen colour palette. The interior space was also decorated with light garlands by Bluemark Entertainment.

The Indoor Portraits

Both this and the outdoor lounge area pictured earlier make great practical additions to wedding day styling and are great for photo opportunities and weary guests alike!

The Wedding Cake

The four-tier design by the La Belle Cake Company added a burst of brighter colour to the overall scheme.

The Mobile Bar

Keshell from Liquid Mobile Bar worked her bar magic by mixing some cocktails and flavoured prosecco - perfect to wash down a cupcake or two! Such creations can add the wow factor to your wedding, from welcome drinks, drinks throughout the day, and right through to the evening. The attractive mobile bar was further styled using large light-up letters from Bluemark Entertainment, which would add a lovely touch to evening celebrations.

The Stationery

The stationery suite was designed by Tiggity Boo, who remarks:

"I love colour and adore working with florals so designing the stationery for this was a dream. Dusky pink dahlias set against rich ivory was perfect for the rural setting of the shoot and matched beautifully with the floral designs by Sara's Flowers and Events."

To the flat lays, Beth added flowing silk ribbons (her own 'Wedding Day Emergency Kit' contains such ribbons, which are useful for completing the look for a flat lay on the day itself), and beautiful blooms from Alina.

The Film

Don't miss the film of the day, captured by Keeley Wedding Films.

My thanks to the team for sharing this beautiful collaboration with GREEN UNION!
