INSPIRATION - 'We Have Fallen In Love': Sustainable Autumn Awesomeness Captured By Thyme Lane Photography At Horsley Hale Farm, CambridgeshireIt surely goes without saying that I love all the inspiration shoots I post on GREEN UNION - but every now and then, one comes along that I LOVE, and this is one of them. I had the hardest time trying to narrow down the images; in the end, even being ruthless, I think I've still ended up with the largest gallery ever!

Noemi of Thyme Lane Photography tells us more about her inspiration:

"I am always inspired by nature and especially love the colours of Autumn. I wanted to find ways to help people to create a sustainable, mindful wedding leaving very little carbon footprint while still being themselves and freely enjoy the day also staying as close to nature as possible. I would love brides to dare to be different and style the whole day in any way they like! A well-chosen dress with a cosy jumper and boots to keep you warm can look very stylish and unique.

We picked Horsley Hale Farm in Cambridgeshire as our location, this venue has endless possibilities, many different areas and backdrops, they also have a yurt in the wedding season and can accommodate tipis to provide some covered areas.

Everything we used was either real vintage or handmade, from our dresses and jewellery to tableware, stationery and cake. Our colour scheme was earthy, deep Autumn colours that ran through every setup of the shoot and matched the seasonal colours of the venue perfectly."

Personally, they have captured so many of my favourite things you'd almost things they read my mind - there's boho styling, epic florals, a twist on conventional wedding attire for both bride and groom, calligraphy, tattoos, festoon lighting, fire, incredible light, a gorgeous sunset, a chicken, a cute woofer, AND alpacas. If you were ever on the fence about choosing an Autumn wedding, you won't be after you've seen this!

So without further ado, here is the shoot in all its seasonal glory...

The Bridal Styling

Bold jewellery is a must for me, and this necklace by Malanj Woven is the perfect statement piece for this cosy look, which was finished off with knitted gloves.

Aurora Bridal and Events Makeup enhanced bridal model Lydia's natural beauty with the browns and orangey-reds of the season. Her gorgeous auburn hair was styled into a loose, boho updo by Kate Atalay, into which was fixed a statement flower garland by Wild Rosamund, who completed the bridal styling with a generously proportioned bouquet of seasonal blooms and foliage.

The Groom Styling

The Yurt Styling

Using the venue's fabulous yurt, we have the first Dolly's Vintage Tea Party's styling setups, mixing rustic and vintage elements to create a cosy space for two.

The Lakeside Ceremony Styling

Seamlessly blending rustic, vintage and boho styling, rugs, blankets and warm-toned seasonal florals add visual warmth.

The Outdoor Lounge Styling

Loving the autumn leaves in place of a confetti shot, and let's not forget the feathers and furred residents, too!!!

The Wedding Cake Styling

The Stationery

Like a Dutch still life composition, this tablescape and its overflowing florals sit spotlit under the canopy of festoon lights above - magical!

The Fire Pit Styling

If there is a better way to end a wedding day than with toasting marshmallows and lighting sparklers, I haven't found it yet.

My heartfelt thanks to the team behind this shoot for sharing it with GREEN UNION, and for helping me fall back in love (pun intended) with Autumn.
