Survival is the only international organisation supporting tribal peoples worldwide. It works for tribal peoples' rights in three complementary ways: education, advocacy and campaigns. It also offers tribal people themselves a platform to address the world and works closely with local indigenous organisations, with a focus on tribal peoples who have the most to lose, usually those most recently in contact with the outside world. Survival believes that public opinion is the most effective force for change. Its power will make it harder, and eventually impossible, for governments and companies to oppress tribal peoples.

Did you know that if you've paid too much tax in any given year, you can choose for your repayment to go straight to a charity. All you do is tick the appropriate box on your tax self-assessment form. Then log on to the Inland Revenue website to choose from the list of participating charities. The charity will get an extra 20% from HMRC.
