Let me introduce you to the lovely Bea, of Botanika

She creates the most beautiful natural wedding flowers which constantly reflect the seasons and are packed full of local, British grown flowers and foliage, topped up with foraged wild ingredients.

I love it that she is passionate about using local suppliers, not only for her flowers but also the other essential floral accessories like the natural hand dyed silk ribbons that have become most popular for finishing of her stunning wedding bouquets.

When the lovely Emma Stoner sent me photos of Annie and Phil’s very personal wedding at The Longhouse near Bruton in Somerset in June 2016, I knew you’d like to read all about it.  This down to earth couple wanted a wedding venue that celebrates all things local where they could entertain their family and friends, plus a broad of children, in the great outdoors in a relaxed and informal way.  Emma’s photos really capture the relaxed and friendly vibe that the couple created and will give them very special personal memories of their wedding day for years to come.

Bride Annie told me all about their search for the perfect wedding venue and how the day unfolded - over to you Annie …

I don't know about you, but when it comes to jewellery, I personally love the elegantly modern, Fairtrade and quirkily unique.  So when I discovered Daniel Darby’s collection I was seriously smitten.

I think Dan’s inspiration and ethos behind his collection is just perfect. He really believes that the wearing of jewellery should be a joyful experience that’s made through the choice of truly beautiful materials worthy of the special moments the piece celebrates.  I could definitely wear some of his pieces on a daily basis, but they would perfectly adorn brides and grooms equally well on their special day, with that timeless quality that will stay with you forever.

Dan says “I can think of no better materials than Fairtrade gold to represent couples sharing their future together!”

Time for another amazingly creative and inspirational eco friendly wedding!

This week I’m handing you over to lovely couple Anne and Steve who will tell you all about their amazing natural wedding which took place earlier in the year right in the heart of Bristol City.  Their wedding was first brought to my attention by a very talented dress designer, Linda Thomas, who makes it her business to create one off works of art using recycled silk fabrics with felted highlights.

This really is a one off and best told by Viktoria Kuti's beautiful photos and Anne, the lovely bride herself ...
