Naturally designed wedding stationary

When Ann-Marie Edmondson contacted us to tell us about her gorgeous ethically produced wedding stationary and decorations, we were not only bowled over by the products, but also by the lengths the company takes to make sure they are all created using sustainably sourced materials.

Paper Tree has all manner of hand crafted wedding invitations, coloured paper petals, roses, flowers and garlands made from eco-friendly Saa paper. Saa paper is a sustainable resource made from the bark of the Mulberry tree. The tree is a persistently growing perennial regenerating itself after harvest and the bark can be made into a natural paper without destroying the tree.

We particularly like these pretty paper rosebud cards which can be personalised as wedding invitations or menus for your wedding reception. By the way, the rose buds can also be bought separately in case you want to create your own hand made wedding invitations.

Folly Farms Autumn Wedding Fair

Don’t miss Folly Farm's Wedding Day on Saturday 10th November, from 10am to 4pm.

Jennie Hill's wedding photography

Jennie Hill contacted us a few weeks ago to tell us about her uniquely joyful photography style and we were totally smitten!

Based in Dorset and working as a wedding photographer in Dorset, Devon and Hampshire, Jennie Hill is a farmer's daughter born and bred in the West Country. This must be what makes her an expert on the beautiful light and landscapes that the hills and valleys of that part of the world evoke.

Her style seems to offer a quirky mix of soft country and vintage all rolled into one - quite a new look and thoroughly on trend, as far as we're concerned.

Autumn wedding event in a tent ...

Our friends in Llangollen, Event-in-a-Tent, are throwing open their doors to prospective eco chic wedding couples planning their nuptials in that part of the UK.

They say you will certainly get your marriage started in style in one of their stunning tipis, dancing the night away, a perfect place to party with fairy lights and fabulous glowing fires. The ultimate venue for either a summer wedding or Christmas celebration, which no one will forget in a hurry.
