They've taken a common sense, 'best guess' approach and factored in averages for all the major aspects - likely car travel, catering, heat, light and so on, and that gave them a figure of around about 65kg of C02 per guest. And to make it even easier they've calculated air travel (which produces a heap of C02) seperately, so if your honeymoon involves jet travel, or if there are guests flying in for the wedding, you can include the flight emissions in your overall calculation as well.
