The trees are all British Natives like Oak and Yew, or species like Walnut and Sweet Chestnut which were introduced to Britain hundreds of years ago. If you want a lasting reminder of your very special wedding day then what better than a tree which will not only live way beyond your own lifetime, but also that of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

And during its long life it will nurture hundreds of living creatures within its own micro habitat. An Oak will support insect life that feeds on the leaves, like butterfly and moth caterpillars, beetles, bugs and green fly which, in turn, provide food for predatory beasts including birds like chifchafs, long tailed tits and tree creepers and the little birds (sadly) will be food for predatory birds like sparrowhawks. Apart from these there are numerous gall that grow on the leaves and in the acorns, which are caused by different types of wasps laying their eggs there. There's also fungi that grows on the tree or amongst its roots and the bark hosts numerous epiphytes (plants that live on the outside of another plant like lichens and mosses, liverworts and algae).

So you're not just planting a tree, you'll be kick starting a whole new world!

Don't just give Wedding Tree Favours for weddings, think outside the box and give them for Christmas and birthdays too.
